Some time ago I applied for funding and was rejected because I am not a registered charity; that started me thinking, and from that I created a list of the pro bono work I do. Most of my time, around 80%, is non-income generating and includes:

· Provision of free and reduced fee LPAs to people in hardship

· Delivery of free on-line education events

· Bi-monthly blog

· Weekly podcast

· Consultancy for external organisations

· Advance Care Planning advice and support

I committed this week to providing 12 monthly on-line sessions open to all will talk about Lasting Power of Attorney, Advance Decisions to Refuse Treatment, DNACPR and Advance Care Planning. It’s exciting and part of my commitment to improve professional understanding, raise public awareness and normalise Advance care Planning.

The IT platforms required to host information, production of the podcasts and IT development are costs I meet every month to produce the content.

In this blog I am setting out my work I and offering an opportunity for sponsorship. I’m doing this because the work is growing and, while I love doing it, I have to face the reality of creating a business that is sustainable.

I am offering sponsorship opportunities to enable continued provision and development of the work I am doing and I have broken it down so it could work for individuals who may want to contribute to a one-off Newsletter to organisations who may consider sponsoring the monthly teaching for a year. The options available include:

· Sponsor a teaching session for a month or a year

· Sponsor the Advance Care Planning information page currently being written
