Examples of Memory Making
Karen Pardoe. I have worked at Mary Stevens Hospice for almost 16 years. My passion is Memory making (leaving a legacy) with the families and patients at the Hospice.
I had worked on the ward as a Health Care Assistant before joining the Bereavement team. This has given me the opportunity to expand the service we offer, not only within the Hospice but also within the community. I have also begun in house sessions to the staff and volunteers, in becoming aware of the importance of memory making, this helps staff to take part in creating their own memory making . This in turn enables us to provide a growing and successful service that we can offer.
