Why Choose Speak for Me LPA?

For a free 15 minute consultation to discuss your Lasting Power of Attorney please Speak To Me here.

A Lasting Power of Attorney is an important and powerful legal document. It gives you the ability to appoint one or more people you trust to speak for you if you ever lose the ability to speak for yourself through ill health or sudden accident.

There are three different ways you can make a Lasting Power of Attorney, a DIY approach, a Lasting Power of Attorney Consultant or a solicitor. It is important to see the service included and cost of each approach and to choose the one right for you.

This blog focuses on using a Lasting Power of Attorney Consultant, specifically Speak for Me LPA, and outlines the benefits this can bring.

What is the story behind the company?

As a Registered Nurse I have seen first-hand and often what can happen if there is not a formal appointment of someone you trust to speak for you if ever needed. I heard many people say they were put off from doing a Lasting Power of Attorney because it was too expensive with a solicitor or too difficult to do it themselves; I recognise also that some people just prefer to hand the job over as they are too busy.

I saw there was an option between a solicitor and the DIY approach and set out to provide an affordable, personalised approach to making a Lasting Power of Attorney. I provide assurance that forms submitted meet the stringent Office of the Public Guardian guidelines and minimise the chance of applications being rejected.

Perhaps most importantly I bring a passion for Advance Care Planning advocacy and understand how and why we need to plan ahead.
